Bill Crager

Most recently, Crager served as the President of Envestnet and helped to lead the firm’s platform, product and marketing strategy, as well as the company’s relationship engagements. Along with Envestnet Chairman and CEO Jud Bergman, he has been a driving force behind a firm that has become the leading managed solutions service provider in terms of total platform assets and number of financial advisors served. Crager and the team at Envestnet were first in the managed solutions industry to think more globally about how to streamline an independent advisor’s practice by offering a broad range of fee-based products side-by-side through an easily accessed, open-architecture portal. He was also named the 2015 Industry Pioneer by the Money Management Institute, the organization’s highest honor..
Before joining Envestnet, Crager served as a Managing Director at Rittenhouse Financial Services. There, he developed a widely recognized initiative that integrated value-added investor communications with a technology-driven client service platform. Crager is a graduate of Fairfield University, where he dual-majored in Economics and English, and currently serves on its Board of Trustees.
Mike Durbin

Mike has nearly 30 years of experience driving innovation in the financial services industry. His previous roles at Fidelity include head of Fidelity Institutional Investment and Technology Solutions and president of Fidelity Wealth Technologies, where he oversaw the acquisition of eMoney Advisor. Prior to Fidelity, Mike held leadership roles at Morgan Stanley in wealth management, capital markets and risk. Mike received his bachelor of business administration degree in finance and economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. In 1998, he received his MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He lives in Boston with his wife, enjoys spending time with his three children, and watching Notre Dame football.

Steve Gresham

Prior to resuming his consulting career, he was Executive Vice President and Head of the Private Client Group in the Personal Investing Division of Fidelity Investments, serving more than 9 million families with $1.6 trillion of assets. During his tenure, the Private Client Group more than doubled in size to nearly $1 trillion AUA and the client satisfaction score rose from 8 to 63. He joined Fidelity in October 2008 after seven years helping to lead the turnaround of The Phoenix Companies and its successful asset management spinoff, Virtus Investment Partners (NYSE -VRTS).
Mr. Gresham has been at the forefront of financial services transformation and innovation. He has received a Telly Award, the Money Management Institute’s Pioneer Award and Mutual Fund Marketer of the Year from Institutional Investor/Fund Action. He was co-chair of the Private Client Services Committee for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). He is a former director of The Money Management Institute The International Money Management Institute in London and was on the faculty of the Center for Public Policy at Brown University. Mr. Gresham has appeared on CNN, PBS, USA Network and Bloomberg Radio and Television. He has published more than 100 articles about wealth management and is the author of five books about wealth management, including The New Advisor for Life (John Wiley & Sons, 2011). He is currently co-chair of The Future of Financial Advice project with Investment News and a columnist on health and wealth for Financial Advisor.
Lori Hardwick

She also serves as CEO of Wealth Tech for RedRock Strategic Partners providing C-suite consulting and thought leadership to financial services firms. In 2017, Lori co-founded Advisor Innovation Labs (AI Labs), where she and her colleagues were focused on building intuitive ‘systems of engagement’ between advisors and their clients, creating a more meaningful relationship, via a digital interaction layer. Prior to founding AI Labs, Lori served as Chief Operating Officer for Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, sharing leadership responsibility with the CEO for managing the Pershing family of companies. Previously, Lori was Group President of Advisory Services for Envestnet. She had been with Envestnet since its founding in 2000.
Lori has been recognized by many industry publications; “Winner in Wealthtech” by Wealth Management Today, A “Woman to Watch” by InvestmentNews, and was included in the Investment Advisor’s list of “The 25 Most Influential People in the Financial Industry”, among others.
In addition to Riskalyze, Lori was named to the Board of Directors for both Vestwell and AI Labs. She is also an active member of Ben Franklin’s Tech Partners External Review Committee in Philadelphia, and serves on the Executive Committee for the Envestnet Institute on Campus.
Kim Mackrill

Kim began her career in the nonprofit world and moved to a publicly traded company in 2005 where she worked with a global sales team and provided oversight to a joint marketing program. She opened Mackrill Media, a boutique design agency, in 2009.
In 2015, Kim co-founded Mineral Interactive with her husband, Jud. Together, with a team of strategists, writers, designers and developers, they helped advisors across the country amplify their message to those who need to hear it most. The Mineral team turned digital marketing moments into memorable experiences for clients and advisors. The Mineral team was honored to be named Winner, Best Advisor Innovation, Fuse 2017 and XYPN Fintech Champion 2018.
Kim resides in Omaha and enjoys listening to podcasts, Nebraska Football and spending time with her husband and four school aged children.
Cheryl Nash
President, Investment Services, Fiserv
Cheryl’s credentials include her appointment to the Money Management Institute (MMI) board of governors and selection as cochair of the MMI Women in Wealth Management, a program dedicated to ensuring women in the workforce 0-5 years have an enriching start to their financial services careers; board member of MMI’s Leadership Pathway; and former co-chair for MMI’s Technology & Operations Committee. She serves as an Envestnet Institute on Campus advisory board member and leads the Women in Wealth Management initiative, a program dedicated to inspiring, advising, and educating career-focused women.
Cheryl has received numerous awards for her contributions and achievements including Money Management Institute’s Pioneer Award (2009); Gold Stevie® Award for Women in Business (2016); Family Wealth Report’s Women in Wealth Management—Individual Contributor award (2017); MMI/Barron’s Industry award to Envestnet Institute on Campus in the ‘Doing Good’ category, a program for which Cheryl Nash and Fiserv are key contributors (2017, 2018); InvestmentNews 2017 Women to Watch honoree; the FTF News 2018 Editor’s Choice Award and most recently, ThinkAdvisor’s 2019 Top Women in WealthTech.
Robert Pettman
Executive Vice President Product and Platform Management, Investor and Investment Solutions
While at LPL, Mr. Pettman has led the design and implementation of many enhancements to the firm’s advisory platforms, including the launch of LPL’s first fully integrated and advisor-enhanced robo solution. He has also spearheaded share class and pricing modifications, and the creation of new centrally managed account models. On the product side, his team lead the development of Smart beta SMAs, moved the firm toward a B-share variable annuity model with standardized commissions, and continued to evolve the firm’s offering in the wake of the new Department of Labor fiduciary rule.
Prior to joining LPL in 2005, Mr. Pettman served as a financial advisor working exclusively with trial lawyers in the areas of settlement planning, trusts, and structured settlements. A strong supporter of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, he captains an annual LPL cycling team that has raised more than $150,000 to find a cure for MS.
Mr. Pettman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is FINRA Series 7 and 66 registered through LPL.
Andy Saperstein
Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management
Mr. Saperstein previously served as Co-Head of Wealth Management and before that Co-COO of the Institutional Securities Group, working across the ISG businesses and coordinating initiatives with Wealth Management. Prior, he held a succession of senior leadership positions in Wealth Management.
He joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 as COO of National Sales, and became Head of U.S Wealth Management following the acquisition of Smith Barney in 2009.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Saperstein held numerous leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, including COO of the Direct Division, and was a partner in the Financial Institutions Group of McKinsey & Company.
He graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and summa cum laude from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with a dual degree in economics and finance.
Mr. Saperstein serves as a Trustee of the Morgan Stanley Foundation, the firm’s charitable arm. He also serves as an Advisory Council Member for Teen Cancer America.

Christina Townsend

Prior to her current role, she led the Managed Investments product and transition teams and served on the Managed Investments Executive Committee. She was responsible for the product strategy, roadmap and implementing client’s managed account solutions.
Christina joined Pershing in 2000. She started her career in the corporate intern program and then spent a number of years supporting business process improvement efforts for the firm. She managed a team that was responsible for delivering large-scale technology and new client conversion projects.
Christina is the North America Co-Chair of BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiative Network and is a member of the BNY Mellon WIN Operating Committee.
Christina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Bates College. She completed the Securities Industry Institute® program, sponsored by Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Matt Wilson
Head of E*TRADE Advisor Services
Mr. Wilson has more than 20 years of experience in financial services. Prior to his current role he served as Senior Vice President of E*TRADE Institutional Services, leading the company’s national referral program that connects independent financial advisors to potential clients. Prior to E*TRADE, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Equity Trust Company. Mr. Wilson also served as President and CEO of Scottrade Brokerage. In this role he led more than 3,600 employees across 500 locations who served more than 3 million retail and institutional accounts. Prior to this role, Mr. Wilson was Head of Retail Sales and Guidance Solutions at TD Ameritrade, where he led the Advisor Direct referral network, a cross enterprise program designed to attract and retain both retail and independent advisor clients. Mr. Wilson began his financial services career at Charles Schwab where he served in various leadership roles.
Mr. Wilson received a BGS from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
John Yackel
Head of Strategic Initiatives for Envestnet
A 25-plus-year veteran of the industry, John most recently worked at Prudential in their Wealth Management division where he led all business development, distribution, and relationship management activities. Prior to joining Prudential, John was at Fortigent which was part of Lydian Wealth Management. At Fortigent, he helped drive strategy, business development, and senior client engagement with institutions and advisors who served ultra-high-net-worth clients. He has specific expertise working with banks, trust companies, registered investment advisors, insurance companies, and family offices.
Prior to Fortigent, John spent 15 years at SEI, serving in various leadership roles in sales management, business development, marketing, relationship management, and business strategy. He was instrumental in establishing SEI’s Community Bank division, where he developed new outsourcing relationships with some of the country’s most progressive banking institutions. Subsequently, he developed strategic outsourcing relationships within SEI’s Money Manager division, which provided proprietary accounting, administrative services, compliance, and distribution solutions. He also worked in SEI’s Advisor Network group, where he held two senior positions – Midwest advisor business manager and director of sales. In these roles, he was responsible for consulting and recruiting SEI’s Elite Select RIA clientele.
John earned a B.A. in economics from Bucknell University and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Amy Young

For the 12 years prior to that she ran a boutique management consulting firm specializing in the transformation of the wealth management industry. She brings a diverse toolkit of strategic planning, facilitation and program management skills to help financial institutions achieve their growth and innovation objectives.
Amy spent the first decade of her career in capital markets working as an equity analyst and trader. She made the move into industry in 2001 to lead investor relations at a major Canadian software company and later held senior roles in the corporate strategy team at a global utility. Amy holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, a BA in English from U of T and is a CFA Charterholder. She has taught Masters-level business communications courses at two Canadian business schools and enjoys mentoring FinTech startups.
